7 Simple ways to bleach white clothes

We all have white clothes in the closet. To preserve their initial appearance, special care is required, which is sometimes difficult to achieve. However, for this, you can even use the natural ingredients that are always at hand in each home.

1. Remove stubborn stains

In a pot, boil 2 liters of water. Squeeze the juice of three lemons. Stir the water, the juice squeezed, 1 tbsp. of salt and 1/4 cup of detergent. Soak your clothes in the mixture and let it stand for 40 minutes.
Then rinse the clothes thoroughly and hang them to dry.

This recipe is perfect for removing sweat stains on the armpits and neck.

2. For gleaming white shirts

Pour 10 g of baking soda (1 tbsp.) On the stain, rub it with half a lemon so that you release the juice.
Let the garment stand like this for 15 minutes and wash it with warm water.

This recipe is often applied to remove yellowish spots that form in the armpit and neck areas. At first, you can mix the baking soda with the lemon juice to form a thick paste, and then rub it on the garment.

3. Universal bleach

Cut 2 lemons and add some slices in a bowl with 1 liter of boiled water. Right there put your white clothes and let them soak for 40 minutes.
Then wash them in the washing machine as you always do.

A little secret:
Lemon is a universal bleach of your favorite underwear, it has no harmful effects on the fabric.

4. For delicate fabrics

Stir 1/4 of detergent with 2 liters of water and add 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide.
Soak your clothes for 30 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

Opt for a good quality detergent so as not to worsen the condition of your clothes.
This shape is excellent for delicate and woven fabrics.

5. Intensive effect

In a bowl, pour 1 liter of water, add 62 ml (1/4 cup) of hydrogen peroxide and 4 drops of ammonia. Put your clothes in this mixture and let it soak for 10 minutes. Rinse well.

This mixture has a more intensive effect as it contains ammonia.
Do not forget to take precautions when working with these types of solutions.

6. Natural conditioner

Mix 125 ml (1/2 cup) of vinegar in 1 l of water and soak the clothes for 40 minutes. If a sweat stain is required, pour the vinegar right over the stain and rub a small amount of soap on it.

Vinegar in this case not only bleaches but also softens fabrics.

7. For bedding


Put your bedding in a bowl with sour milk and let it soak for 1-2 hours. Then wash it as you always do. You can repeat the soaking if necessary.
